The faithful Africanis dog, the trusty carpet of stars and the cheer brought on by a shared bottle of rum are the best travel companions anyone could ever wish for.
As we traversed the oft’ dusty roads on the African continent, we encountered common reminders of camaraderie: dogs, stars and rum. Each camp site, every homestead and every farmer had a dog and all their tails were wagging. Affectionate dogs made me think of home.
